The "User Groups Rights"
Page
allows to set up User Rights
for Issue Tracking System Product's User Groups.

How
to navigate to the "User Groups Rights" Page
You have to be member of the ITS Administrators
group in order to navigate to the
"User Groups Rights" Page. To navigate to the
page, click on the User Groups Rights link
located on the top menu of the Users Summary
Page. Please, refer to the Users Summary Page document
for more information about how to navigate to the
Users Summary Page.
Changing User Groups Rights
The User Groups Rights
Page
consist of single table of check-box buttons, with one
row for each user group
and one column for each user
right.

to grant particular user
right to particular user group, check the checkbox
button on the row corresponding to the user
group and column corresponding to the user
right

to revoke particular user
right from particular user group,
uncheck the checkbox button on the row corresponding
to the user group and column corresponding to
the user right (an user of this group will still have this
right granted if he/she belongs to some
other users group which have this
right granted).
To apply the user
rights changes according to current state of the
user rights table, you have to click on the
UPDATE button
located
below the user rights table.
If you made changes to the
user rights
table, you didn't click the Update button, and you want to
go back and display present user rights
settings, you can click on the Restore link located above the
user rights table which will restore user
rights table according to
current state of the Issue Tracking System
settings.
Issue Tracking System allows to
set different user rights for each product / product category. To
set user groups rights for a product / product
category, select the product / product
category first using drop down list located in top
right part of the User Groups Rights Page and
then update the user groups rights.
