Settings
You will need following information during Issues
Tracking System (ITS) setup:
- ITS license key
-
if you purchased Issue Tracking System (ITS)
then contact your ITS vendor or Solid Graphics to
provide you with ITS license key. If you don't have
the ITS license key then you still will be able to
install ITS, but ITS will run using generated trial
key only. With trial key the ITS installation will
be time limited and might have functionality
restrictions. - Trial mode installation can be
configured any time later to full ITS installation by
simply specifying the ITS license key
- ITS binary files directory
name
- this is name of a directory where ITS
binary files (such as DLL and EXE files) will
be installed. You need to have full access right to
this directory (or it's parent directory in case ITS
setup will be creating this directory) during the
setup.
- ITS ASP & HTML files
directory name
- this is name of a
directory where ITS ASP files and HTML files
will be installed. This directory must be a
subdirectory of existing IIS virtual directories. You
need to have full access right to this directory (or
it's parent directory in case ITS setup will be
creating this directory) during the setup.
- URL
to the Issue Tracking System
- this is the
internet address you will be specifying to your web
browser when accessing the Issue Tracking System. ITS
will put the value you specify here during
setup to e-mail notification messages addressed
to ITS users, so they can conveniently access ITS by
one click from their e-mail message (providing their
e-mail program allows it). The address should be in
form 'http://<server_name>/<dir_name>/'
where:
<server_name> is you server DNS
name (for example
'www.myserver.com') <dir_name> is name of IIS virtual
root subdirectory you specified as the
ITS ASP & HTML files directory
name parameter
