Issues Tracking System Administrator

An Issue Tracking System administrator is a person responsible for administering product / product category user rights and issues according to product development and maintenance policies. These policies are usually decided by the product development and management team. An ITS administrator has always right to manage user rights for the product / product category , assign or update an issue, open an issue as somebody else, and manage (add or delete) users.

An ITS user might have administrator rights for multiple products / product categories . At least one of ITS administartors must have physical access to the ITS hardware, must have access rights to the ITS databases, must have administrating access rights to the Web server where the ITS is running.
