float GetScale( void );
The current scale of the data displayed in the COpenGL object window. The returned Scale value means 1 : Scale scale.
Use the GetScale method function to retrieve the current scale of the data displayed in the COpenGL object window.
Note that only with the orthographic projection are all graphic data in the scale you retrieve.
With perspective projection, only the graphic data, in the virtual plane which is parallel to the computer screen and containing the reference point, is in scale you retrieve. The graphic data beyond that plane appears smaller and the graphic data in front of that plane appears larger. This is natural for perspective projections.
The GetScale function uses the Win32 API GetDeviceCaps function to retrieve the VERTSIZE value of the height of the physical screen. Make sure that your monitor values are correctly set in the operating system. Otherwise data you are displaying may not be displayed in the scale you retrieve.
